I was talking to a friend of mine and it seems that some of the complaints I had about Twilight weren't the fault of the film makers. First off what I said about it jumping from the characters being only slightly interested to madly in love was also that way in the book and apparently has a purpose in the grand scheme of things.
Also I complained about the lack of vampire things in the movie but given the fact that Edward and his family don't attack people you have to expect this. But you still got to see him run really fast and jump high and climb trees with amazing speed.
I will say that the action scenes at the end of the movie were good. But I still say that about the first half of the movie was a bit boring and some things did seem rushed. But again this isn't the fault of the people who made the movie. This won't change my score any but it's good to know that they didn't butcher the book and some things should be explained later.
